Evidence-Based Nutrition Rooted in Clinical Practice I am a Registered Dietitian with over 9 years of clinical experience in hospital and community care settings. I hold a Master’s of Health Sciences in Nutrition Communication from Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson University) and focus on translating complex medical nutrition therapy into practical, sustainable strategies that fit real life.

My primary areas of practice include: Diabetes Management: As a Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE), I provide individualised support for insulin therapy, blood glucose management, and cardiometabolic health. My experience includes insulin pump training, gestational diabetes, and complex cases requiring medication-nutrition coordination.

Kidney & Heart Health: I work closely with individuals living with chronic kidney disease, dialysis, hypertension, and lipid disorders, providing advanced nutrition counselling tailored to lab trends, medication regimens, and cultural food preferences.

Wellness and Weight Management: My clinical background includes supporting patients who are looking to improve their overall eating habits and lifestyle and maintain a healthy weight for their body that enables them to live life to the fullest.

My approach is collaborative, practical, and realistic. I focus on making gradual, sustainable changes that feel manageable rather than overwhelming. I offer counselling in both English and Arabic and work with clients to build habits that support long-term health.
